The Funeral for Jan Salter
Jan's funeral service will be at Woodvale Crematorium, South Chapel on Friday 5th April 2024 at 1:30 pm.
Feel free to wear something bright and colourful, preferably pink, to reflect Jan's bright and warm approach to life.
Following the funeral service, you are welcome to come back to Jan's house for champagne and delicious food provided by Bob at Hampers - Culvers, Churchfields, Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex BN6 9TU (no parking at the house, but you can park nearby) - to share fond memories and celebrate Jan's life with us.

Thoughts
I was blessed to been sent to look after Peggy, Jan's Mum and grew close to them all very quickly. Jan has gone from strength to strength, always ready with a warm smile and kindness. She always had wise words and thoughts, always ready with a cup of tea or coffee. I was constantly amazed at how she never seemed daunted or phased by the many challenges she faced. I'm so grateful I was able to see her shortly before she left us, thank you Cathy. There is an empty hole in my life which can never be refilled. Jan was and still is a unique and very special Lady, deeply missed. My deepest condolences to Cathy and family.
